Susan Ramirez

Susan Ramirez was born in Paterson, NJ and has grown to become an international actress, model, singer, dancer, choreographer, and all around performer. She has been a seen and featured soloist in countless venues across New Jersey and New York City; including the Tony Award Winning Paper Mill Playhouse, SOPAC, MAYOPAC, and the Lincoln Center New York City. Her Principal roles in Theatre and Broadway musical credits include: Mimi Marquez (RENT), Carmen Diaz (FAME), Maria (West Side Story), Taylor Mckessie (High School Musical), Emma Carew(Jekyll And Hyde), Les miserables, Legally Blonde, Sweeney Todd, Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Heights, and many more! Last Summer,Susan understudied and went on for numerous roles in the United States premiere of FAME, en Espanol, in the capitol of her country, Washington DC! In addition to her ten year career in musical theatre, Susan carries a creative enthusiasm for choreographing! She has been the returning Choreographer for her Alma Mater, Belleville High School, after a successful sold out run of In the Heights, and Ragtime. She recently choreographed her amazing students in The Addams Family musical this Spring. Other musical theatre choreography credits include: James and the Giant Peach, Suessical, and Moana Jr! As well as choreographing musicals here in the USA, she also had the wonderful opportunity to co-create, direct and choreograph two original performing art showcases in the heart of Shanghai, China for the students at Sunrise Art Group. She has choreographed music videos for numerous artists, and finds immense joy choreographing routines for special events such as weddings, quinceneras , bat/bar mitzvahs , and Sweet 16s. Not only is she versed in singing , dancing and acting , she possesses a natural talent for the runway! Susan has walked the great white runway at the Manhattan City Center for New York Fashion Week , and will be returning to the 80ft long runway in September for NYFW2020 . She is a published magazine model, and has been featured in the Knot Magazine, IamZainMagazine and has modeled for international brands such as Otaduy from Spain and Hironbangkok from Thailand. Susan is consistantly selected to model for various designs and fashion shows across the tristate area. Her passion for performing is not only seen on stage, but can be extended to screen. Susan possesses an Amazon film credit for her feature in the Amazon original film “Midnight Chaser” and plans on being seen on the big screen more often in commercials, tv, and film projects. Although she enjoys her journey through the arts you can see Susan further extending her passion for dance and fitness as a Zumba Instructor. With a drive, and determination to succeed such as hers, it is only natural that she holds a leadership position that allows her to fuel her passion for helping others meet their goals into an actively aiding position such as a teacher, coach and fitness instructor. Susan has become an experienced teacher, choreographing, teaching, and instructing theatre and dance at Belleville High School, Lindeblad School, and now Natalie’s School of Performing Arts!
